Norfolk Government House – The oldest working government building of Australia in Norfolk Island

The renovated historic Government House was built in 1829 and, as part of the Kingston and Arthurs Vale Historic Area, is listed on the Australian National Heritage List and as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The house is still used as an official residence for the Norfolk Island Administrator. The building itself is the fourth Government House built on Norfolk Island since the penal settlement, and retains key historical features typical of Georgian architecture.
