Morgan House – The mansion of British colonial architecture in Kalimpong

The house was built in the early 1930s by an English jute baron Mr. George Morgan and was used as a summer shelter. When Mr. Morgan died he passed into the hands of the administrators, and was later handed over to the Government of India after India’s independence.
